Day Centres

Everyone who wishes to attend a day centre must have assessed care needs, as per care act criteria. Please read our information sheets on Early Help and Assessment.

Consider other options such as lunch clubs, day activities, men sheds, music groups and other activities and support groups which can be found in our Directory of service

Can I pay to attend at a Day Centre?

There is a difference between private attendance and self-funding attendance.
Self-funding attendance requires a care needs assessment and support needs to have the reduced rates.

Private funded attendance does not require any input from Dorset Council and there are 3 levels of rates to private attendance, low, medium and high. For Tricuro day centre sessions (there are 2 sessions in a full day).

Contact Tricuro for more information.
